Judged Racewalk May 22

Is anyone interested in doing the judged racewalk next weekend here in Columbus? There are two events: 1500 and 5000. The cost is only $5 each but you have to register by May 18.

I'd like to try it, but wonder how many racewalkers usually enter, what their ages are, etc. You have to register online at www.coacho.com.

I have this fear of being DQ'd in the first lap or finishing a good 5 min after everyone else. :-)

To Cindi,Laura and all the Striders, let me once again tell you how grateful I am for your friendship and support. Your birthday cards, your enthusiastic welcome of my visiting friend from Seattle, Yvonne, this incredible article about my beloved Tom --- all bring me to happy tears. You are the best!

The newsletter format is fantastic!  It inspires thoughts of how we might broaden our presence through electronic media. A truly professional product, one I believe would excite curiosity to find out more about our group.

Again, thank you for helping me through tough times and so honoring Tom. I know he is so proud of his friends
